Made by hand, piece by piece

Every Zaree bag passes through the hands of artisans before it reaches yours. Nothing here is mass-injection-moulded or machine-embellished end to end — the embroidery, beadwork and metal finishing you see on each piece were placed there individually.

What goes into a Zaree bag

• Zari & metallic thread embroidery — the traditional gold and silver thread work used across our Heirloom edit, hand-stitched onto the base fabric.
• Mirror & bead work — individually placed glass beads, sequins and mirror-cut embellishments, seen across our potlis and clutches.
• Crystal & pearl setting — faux pearls and crystal stones hand-set onto metal or fabric frames for our After Dark pieces.
• Metal framework — brass and alloy frames, many with antique gold or silver plating, formed and finished for our Metalwork edit.
• Base fabrics — premium velvet, satin and brocade silk, chosen to hold embellishment well and drape properly on the wrist or shoulder.

Because each piece is handmade, you may notice small variations in beadwork spacing, embroidery, or stone placement from one bag to the next — that variation is a sign of hand craftsmanship, not a flaw.
