Keeping your Zaree bag in shape

Our bags are hand-embellished with beads, mirrors, crystals, zari embroidery and metal hardware — a little extra care goes a long way.

• Storage. Keep your bag in its dust bag or a soft cloth pouch when not in use, away from direct sunlight, to protect embellishment and prevent colour fading.
• Moisture. Keep beadwork, embroidery and metal hardware away from water, perfume and other liquids — moisture can tarnish metal plating and loosen embellishment over time.
• Handling. Hand-set stones, beads and mirror work can loosen with rough handling — hold and set your bag down gently rather than dropping or overpacking it.
• Cleaning. Spot clean only, with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based wipes or submerging any part of the bag in water.
• Metal hardware. Antique gold and silver plated frames can develop a natural patina over time — this is normal for hand-finished metal and part of how the piece ages.
